We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Professional Development Workshop (PDW) on Governing and Regulating AI in Organizations at the 2025 Academy of Management Annual Meeting. The PDW will take place on Sunday, Jul 27, 2025, 10:00 – 12:30 CEST (GMT+2/UTC+2).
Together with Wendy Currie (Audencia Business School), Gudela Grote (ETH Zurich), Daniel Gozman (The University of Sydney Business School), Kalle Lyytinen (Case Western Reserve University), Sirkka Jarvenpaa (The University of Texas at Austin), Stefan Seidel (University of Cologne), and Francois-Xavier de Vaujany (Université Paris Dauphine-PSL), we will explore regulation of and through AI and other emerging technologies. With a mix of expert panels and interactive roundtable discussions, we aim to spark dialogue and build a research community around the governance and regulation of emerging technologies in organizations.
If you are interested in better understanding how actors are struggling to govern or regulate AI and other emergent technologies, how technologies can themselves become regulatory tools that govern organizational operations, and the broader societal implications - we welcome you to join the conversation! No paper submission is required - just a brief registration via our online form to help us tailor the breakout discussions.
