Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for one-year full-time postdoctoral scholar position starting Fall 2024 with the possibility of a one-year renewal.The W. P. Carey School of Business values our cultural and intellectual diversity, and continually strives to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.  We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of the academic community.Essential Functions.  The candidate must contribute to the Department of Information Systems' mission in the areas of research and teaching, and must be able and willing to teach business analytics and information systems courses to both undergraduate and graduate students.Required Qualifications.1) A PhD in business administration, information systems, or a closely related field; ABD candidates must successfully defend their dissertation by July 1, 2024; 2) Evidence of potential for excellence in research publications at top-tier journals and a promising agenda.Desired Qualifications.1) A strong research agenda as evidenced by papers published or forthcoming in premier academic journals; 2) Research experience or training using machine learning and AI; 3) Demonstrated evidence of teaching potential for excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.Application Procedure.  Application deadline is April 1, 2024.  Applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis for a reserve pool.  Applications in the reserve pool may then be reviewed every two weeks in the order in which they were received until the position is filled.  Formal application must be accomplished through submission of 1) a cover letter that addresses how you meet the qualifications and why you are interested in this post-doc position at ASU (if you have any recordings of your research presentation, please provide the link to the recorded video), 2) a resume or CV (including a list of manuscripts under review and identifying the journal and review status),  3) a research and teaching statement that should address qualifications, accomplishments and future plans in both research and teaching, including and teaching competency/teaching evaluations (if available), and 5) a list of references, all uploaded through Apply - Interfolio.
