Dear Colleagues,<u2:p></u2:p>
How might work dynamics look like if the artificial intelligence (AI) agents are introduced to become "co-workers" for employees in near future? If you want to trigger your disciplined imagination to explore this question, you would find this livestreamed event relevant: 14th Annual COB Film Festival on Leading with Emotional Intelligence will be held on November 21, 2024, Thursday, 5:30 pm, PST at the Sacramento State University, which will be also livestreamed for broader audience.<u2:p></u2:p><u1:p></u1:p>
The event will feature four experimental comedy films produced by the College of Business (COB) students to explore the theme: "Hi AI: Utilizing Emotional Intelligence to Better Adapt Artificial Intelligence".
To participate in this live virtual event, registration is needed until November 19 via this RSVP Link: COB_Annual_Film_Festival_RSVP
Recent developments in large language models and AI innovations have started changing the paradigm on how employees perform their jobs in organizations. Addressing this topic, this year's event will illustrate organizational stories that take place in a near future where AI agents have already become a regular part of work groups and have started developing certain social relationships with employees in these work environments.
When brought together, these films would provide novel insights about a wide range of emotions employees could experience in interactions with AI agents, including envy, anger, enthusiasm, happiness, courage, joy, anxiety, and loneliness to explore how emotionally intelligent leadership can help employees to better adapt AI in their organizations.
Dr. Oguzhan Aygoren, the Director at Institute for Business Innovation at University of California, Berkley, and Elisabeth Nunziato, an acclaimed director and actor from NK Media, will join Dr. Hakan Ozcelik to provide a live commentary on these films.
