We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a Professional Development Workshop on Data Studies at AOM 2026.

This PDW brings together an exciting group of scholars who study data from multiple perspectives and invites a broader conversation on what it means to take data seriously as an object of inquiry.
Through presentations and panel discussion, we will explore how different traditions within data studies define data, what they examine, and how their approaches are evolving.
