Please join us at the Academy of Management 2026 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia for a presenter symposium on how online communities organize knowledge exchange.
The session brings together five papers on Stack Overflow, Reddit, OSS, and related online communities, that discuss classification, connection, feedback, visibility, metaknowledge, and temporal coordination as mechanisms that shape the production and circulation of knowledge online.
The paper presentations will be followed by roundtable discussions guided by Molly Wasko, Hani Safadi, Aron Lindberg, and Aleksi Aaltonen to foster dialogue about how online community actors communicate, collaborate, and enact control.
