Dear Colleagues,
Exploring AI management, this Wisdom Studio episode provides a unique disciplined imagination opportunity, pretty much similar to as if we were teleported to the next decade to get a glimpse of AI-driven work environments and think backwards to explore what we can to today to create a better future. In a story that takes place in 2034, this futuristic experimental comedy film illustrates how AI automation can alienate employees and then explores how emotional intelligence and transformational leadership actions can help these employees move from loneliness to joy.
The film has been recently presented in the 15th Annual COB Film Festival at the California State University, Sacramento, CSUS. In a commentary session following the film, City of Roseville Deputy City Manager Megan Scheid, GCSC, APR and Dr. Hakan Ozcelik provide insights about how AI automation trends could redefine managerial professions and employees' psychological experiences at work in near future.
A subsequent forum with audience further explores the implications of AI automation trends for the younger next generation who will have started their careers in the next decade. Drawing on these insights, participants discuss why basic human needs and adaptation would be a driving force to influence how our next generation will shape AI's future.
The film is produced by a team of HR students at the CSUS, Control +Z Collective, which has innovatively used AI technology to create visual effects in their film while exploring the future of AI.
