    Call for Nominations: CTO Division Best Published Paper Award (2025)

    The Communication, Technology, and Organization (CTO) Division is pleased to invite nominations for the 2025 Best Published Paper Award. This award recognizes outstanding scholarly contributions published by CTO Division members during the 2025 calendar year.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible for consideration, papers must meet the following criteria:

    • Publication year: The paper must have been published in 2025 (online-first publications are eligible if they bear a 2025 publication date).
    • Authorship: At least one author must be a current member of the CTO Division at the time of nomination.
    • Publication outlet: Articles must appear in a peer-reviewed academic journal.
    • Topic area: The paper should make a significant contribution to research related to communication, technology, and organizing, broadly defined.

    Nomination Process

    Nominations may be submitted by authors, colleagues, or journal editors. Self-nominations are welcome.

    February 15, 2026 – 23:59 GMT

    Award Announcement

    The winner will be announced at the CTO Division business meeting at the 2026 Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, 31 July – 4 August 2026.
