We are delighted to announce our upcoming Professional Development Workshop (PDW) at the AOM Annual Meeting: "Innovation at the Intersection of the Digital and the Physical." This PDW will delve into "phygital" phenomena, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), digital twins, digital threads, and automated driving systems, which are increasingly blurring the boundaries between the digital and physical worlds. These innovations are appearing in both artificial objects, like the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and natural systems, such as digital representations of oceans and forests.
