We invite scholars to consider this minitrack to be a platform to discuss decoloniality. Fundamental questions of interest are: What does it mean to decolonize information systems? How can we theorize and develop decolonized technologies using decolonial approaches at the local and global levels? Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Data justice and digital activism in decolonial contexts
- Decoloniality, critical race issues and technology
- Decolonizing gender and sex through technology
- Decolonial ethics and Artificial Intelligence
- Decolonial approaches to technology design
- Data colonialism and new forms of coloniality
- Application of Indigenous methods and theories (e.g., Kaupapa Māori)
