The Department of Accounting and Information Management (AIM) in Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK), is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track position for an assistant/associate professor in Information Management to begin August 1, 2023. The Department of AIM at UTK is at an exciting juncture, as we broaden and deepen our information systems education and research programs. We seek a creative, energetic, forward-thinking scholar to help catalyze this growth. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service and should thrive in a diverse and intellectually stimulating environment.
Potential candidates must hold a doctoral degree (currently or by the time of the academic appointment) with a specialization in information systems or other comparable degree and should demonstrate excellent teaching potential and have an ongoing program of substantive research in information systems. The ideal candidate will have an established record of top-tier publications and particular expertise in teaching topics in cybersecurity as well as proficiency in other information systems topics (e.g., database systems, programming, analytics, systems controls, technologies used to support business processes).
