Please consider submitting a paper (or an extended abstract, for initial screeining) to a JSIS (Journal of Strategic Information Systems) special issue on the ethical and DEI implications of immersive platforms such as the metaverse. Along with me, the managing editors of this special issue are Sue Newell, Manju Ahuja, and Bob Galliers. An outstanding pool of assoociate editros will help us do the job!
Brief description: In this call for papers, we seek manuscripts that explore the future of work with respect to immersive platforms enabling innovative work practices and ask perspective authors specifically to consider the potential pitfalls (i.e., concerning ethics and DEI) of all this.
