Calling all late-year PhD, postdoc and junior faculty members studying technology, digitalization or AI with a focus on practical or process-oriented perspectives!
Digital innovation has become a major topic of study in the field of information systems and organization science. As a result, scholars need to understand in more detail how to study knowledge-intensive practices that emerge from the interplay between (new) technologies and new ways of working as well as the management thereof.
During the fourteenth edition of the annual KIN Summer School, we will bring together a varied selection of scholars to share academic insights and experiences. During four intensive days, participants and faculty members will discuss research in Digital Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation. Each year we invite a different group of faculty members, considered the top international scholars in the field. We select 20 participants based on their fit with the topic and experience with research. Potential participants - late-year doctoral students, post-doc researchers, and junior faculty members – are invited to send in their applications.

Organized by the KIN Center for Digital Innovation, the KIN Summer School will take place from July 5-8th 2026, at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).

During the KIN Summer School, you will:
    - receive feedback on your work in progress from a renowned group of scholars
    - enhance your academic skills by engaging in discussions with international peers
    - grow your academic network
