# The Role
The successful applicant will teach across programmes as assigned by their Head of Department. We embrace practice-led, as well as research-informed, approaches to teaching where the student experience is optimised. You will be expected to publish actively in your specialised field/s, develop leading edge curriculum, supervise postgraduate students, and work to achieve a positive social impact. It is also expected that, over time, the successful candidate will seek external research funding, engage with government, business, professional bodies and the community, and contribute to School/Faculty activities. You will have an open, engaging and collaborative attitude that is flexible to changing requirements. You will enhance the positive energy and collegiality within the Faculty and must embrace and value diversity and enjoy working inclusively with students and colleagues.

- A PhD/Doctorate in a relevant business field.
- Previous teaching experience. An early career academic will have at least some experience as a teaching assistant. More experienced candidates should have experience as course lecturers, as well as in curriculum development and preferably with supervising Masters and/or PhD students.

Research expertise and plans in the areas of interest: Business Analytics, Information Systems, Digital Business, Digital Transformation, Digital Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, FinTech, Sustainable Finance, Innovation Strategy, Technology and Innovation Management, and Entrepreneurship. An early career academic will have the basis of a solid research pipeline and a job market paper available. More experienced candidates will already have a proven research track record with quality publications and ideally also success in external funding bids.
- A strong balance between practical acumen and theoretical knowledge

* The successful candidate will secure a permanent, full-time appointment.
* Salary ranges: Lecturer - $85,584 to $101,855. Senior lecturer - $104,856 to $137,107 (the specific level within the ranges will be commensurate with relevant skills and experience).
