    The Department of Management Information Systems in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the lecturer or senior lecturer level. This position is expected to be 100% instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2024. Participation in the life of the department, e.g., committee membership, is expected of all faculty.

    Candidates must have a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Information Systems or a related discipline from an AACSB accredited university or international equivalent at the time of appointment. Candidates with a Master's degree must document exceptional accomplishments in management information systems and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.

    The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to teach "Intro to IS" or "System Analysis and Design" at the undergraduate or graduate level. The ability to teach in the areas of Business Process Management FinTech, or Project Management would be a plus. The position is renewable based on performance and promotion is possible after six years of service. The Management Information Systems Department is consistently ranked highly nationally and internationally for both its programs and its scholarly productivity. Faculty hold editorial positions at the premier information systems journals, and current and emeritus faculty include multiple AIS Fellow and AIS Leo Award winners.
