    Dear Colleagues,

We are very pleased to announce that the Paper Development Workshop on Digital Innovation with Decentralized Information Systems and Emerging Technologies will take place on 21 May 2026 at NEOMA Business School, Paris

This workshop provides an opportunity for scholars to develop ongoing empirical or conceptual research related to digital innovation enabled by decentralized information systems and emerging technologies. We particularly welcome submissions that examine digital innovation associated with technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence among others.

The workshop is designed to be highly developmental. Each paper will be mentored by a senior scholar with an established publication record and editorial or editorial board experience at leading journals in the field. Confirmed discussants and participants include Youngjin Yoo (London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom), Stefan Seidel (University of Cologne, Germany), Shirish Srivastava (HEC Paris, France), and Robert Gregory (Miami Herbert Business School, USA).

The event will begin with an open plenary session on the workshop theme, followed in the afternoon by roundtable sessions and paper feedback for the participating authors. The plenary session is open to anyone with an interest in the topic; however, for logistical reasons, the number of places is limited and advance registration is required using the form provided below.

During the roundtables, authors will receive detailed feedback from both senior scholars and peers with similar research interests. The workshop is open to recent PhD graduates as well as more senior scholars. Paper selection will be based on an extended abstract of up to 1000 words. Submission deadlines and further details are provided at the end of this announcement. Please include full contact details with your abstract. Upon acceptance, authors will be asked to prepare a short presentation of their paper for the roundtable discussions.

We welcome submissions at various stages of development, ranging from early research-in-progress to full paper drafts approaching journal submission or undergoing revision. Extended abstracts should be submitted using the form provided below.

    Logistics and Support to Participants
