The School of Engineering and the Institute for Sustainable Development (IDS) at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC), one of the leading academic institutions in Latin America, invites outstanding candidates for a full-time faculty position in the area of Computer Science for Sustainable Digital Transformation. This is a joint appointment position at the Department of Computer Science (DCC) in the School of Engineering and the Institute for Sustainable Development (IDS). And,it is supported and partially funded by the Entel Endowed Chair for Sustainable Digital Transformation.
Requirements
Applicants must have earned a PhD degree in Information Systems or Computer Science with emphasis on Sustainability and/or Digital Transformation, at the time of hiring.
The selected applicant will be expected to conduct high-quality research and teaching in topics such as Information Systems for Sustainable Development, Digital Transformation, Digital Innovation, Digital Government, Sustainability of Digital Technologies, among others.
